Rowena Aitken - Illustrator
Rowena Aitken has always been an artist. She has drawn since she could hold a pencil and loves every second of it. Her art career and skill base was given a huge boost with 4 years of art college training studying Animation and Electronic Media at the prestigious Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design .
On her journey to becoming an illustrator she has worked for Tag Games Ltd, an independent mobile phone games company based in Dundee, as a junior artist and for various media companies as a graphic designer and film editor. Her drawing skills are excellent across digital and traditional media, using Photoshop and a Wacom Intuos 4 XL and good old fashioned pencils.
Rowena also has a keen interest in film and animation and has been called upon to work in post production for a short independent film due to begin filming in the summer of 2010.
She is currently accepting commissions and is available for hire for in-house contracts and freelance positions.
